i can't believe i'm here.
my neighborhood is kinda ugly but from what i understand it's not as bad as it looks. people are friendly. alex has been darling. i JUST got here maybe 30 minutes ago. think i might go into manhattan with alex in a few here so i can get a little more accustomed to the subway, etc.

i already miss darren more than anyone can possibly imagine. this city is big and scary and it's unbelievably tempting to just run home into his arms but i feel like i have something to prove to myself. to prove that i can do this. that i can make a life for myself anywhere. i am anxious to start my job and get myself a little more settled. i'm feeling rather frazzled.

mia's poodle is the sweetest thing ever and i am completely in love with her.

i bought pretty shoes today along with pretty new sweater, belt, and pants. plus $100 worth of christmas presents. marvelous.
i want life to feel glamorous. new apartment should do the trick for now. new clothes never hurt either.

i love december. i went to trail of lights with selina and it was amazing. i love trees and lights and buying presents. i love the colors and the foods and everythinhg you can imagine that does inherently along with christmas.
